Tom Risher

Tom Risher is a Private Advisor, Managing Director with the Risher Group at Rockefeller Capital Management. Tom has been working in the financial services industry for over 30 years, spending 1991-2010 as a Bond Trader in Chicago, IL. specializing in 5, 10, and 30 year U.S. Treasury Bond futures as a member of the Chicago Board of Trade.  Prior to joining Rockefeller, Tom and his family relocated to Hilton Head Island in 2010 to become a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors.

Offering highly personalized and detail-oriented service to his clients, Tom provides comprehensive wealth management, retirement planning, investment risk management, cash flow management, tax-efficient strategies, and estate planning strategies with a high level of commitment to always put the client’s needs first.

Raised in South Carolina, Tom graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Clemson University. Tom and his wife, Jennifer, enjoy raising their three daughters and are active in the SC lowcountry serving various community and educational boards. When time allows, Tom can be found attending Clemson Tiger sporting events, enjoying golf, and spending time on the water or in the field.
