Timothy D. O’Hara

Timothy D. O’Hara is Vice Chairman of the Rockefeller Global Family Office.

In his role, Tim partners with Private Advisors in the coverage of ultra-high-net-worth clients and prospective clients through an expansive offering of investment, tax and estate planning, strategic advisory, and trustee services, as well as strategic partnerships providing risk management and lifestyle advisory services. Tim is a leader in driving growth in this client segment and also serves as the firm’s senior-most relationship manager with members of the Rockefeller Family. He also focuses on opportunities to bring RIAs and Private Advisors into the firm.

Prior to joining Rockefeller in 2018, Tim was President and CEO of Ayco, joining in 1996 as a client advisor in the Ayco Family Office. At the company, he had served as Head of the Ayco Family Office and Executive Vice President of the Asset Management, Insurance, and Finance divisions.

Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Le Moyne College and his J.D. from Albany Law School. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Tim serves as a Trustee of Albany Law School, a member of the Board of Advisors of Madden School of Business at Le Moyne College, an advisor of GCM Ventures, LLC, and a member of the Board of GreenSlate. Tim is also a Leaders Council Member of The UHNW Institute.
