Samantha Cooper

Samantha Cooper is a Managing Director and Head of Distribution at Rockefeller Capital Management. Samantha is responsible for the distribution of both Alternative and Traditional products across the Rockefeller Global Family Office platform.

Before joining Rockefeller Capital Management, Samantha was at Morgan Stanley where she spent 21 years building and expanding their Alternatives Platform in a number of senior roles across Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Most recently Samantha served as Head of the Alternatives Distribution Management business where she was responsible for leading the capital raising activities globally for the Private Equity and Private Credit platform. Prior to that, Samantha was Head of Wealth Management Distribution for the Merchant Banking and Real Estate platform, which included building out and scaling the Firm’s alternatives strategies across Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Prior to that, Samantha focused on capital raising and investor relations for Morgan Stanley Private Equity in the US and Asia.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2002, Samantha was with the Equity Research Group at UBS Warburg. Samantha is based in New York and holds a B.S. from Clemson University.
