Przemyslaw “Shem” Filipek

Shem began his career at UBS Institutional Advisory Group, advising clients on corporate equity-based compensation plans and developing strategies to enhance liquidity and wealth planning, with a primary focus on potential tax considerations.

Currently, he serves as a Wealth Manager within the Oryx Legacy Partners Team, specializing in providing comprehensive financial services to ultra-high-net-worth families, foundations, and institutions. Shem conducts in-depth financial analyses to support the creation of robust financial plans and assists in developing and implementing sophisticated investment strategies.

Shem earned his B.S. from Monmouth University and an MBA in Finance from Wagner College. He holds Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Originally from Poland, he spent his youth as a junior professional tennis player, achieving ATP rankings in both singles and doubles. Currently, he resides in New York City with his wife, Faith.
