Matt Birkett is a Private Advisor, Senior Vice President on PMBD Wealth Partners at Rockefeller Global Family Office.   

With over 18 years of experience in the financial industry, Matt is dedicated to providing tailored financial solutions for high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs, professional athletes, and entertainers. By leveraging the same resources that have been guiding the Rockefeller family for over 140 years, Matt and his team focus on delivering an elevated client experience that caters to the unique and evolving needs of their clients throughout every stage of their wealth. 

One of the primary areas of expertise that Matt offers is strategic advice on retirement plans, specifically for business owners and their families ensuring they are prepared for the next chapter of their lives. His team is also focused on advising business succession planning, pre-sale or post-sale tax, and estate planning. They work as a concierge for privately held businesses across the region to ensure that their clients have access to unique financial guidance and resources. 

Matt holds the following designations, Certified Exit Planning Designation, Certified Private Wealth Advisor, Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor and Certified Financial Planner. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.  

Prior to entering the financial services industry, Matt was drafted by and played for the Detroit Tigers.  

Matt resides in La Crescenta with his wife and 3 kids. Outside of work he enjoys exploring all that Southern California has to offer with his family.
