Mark joined Rockefeller in 2021. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1995 in Cincinnati, Ohio as a Financial Advisor and Consultant. In 1997 he was named director of the Blue Ash, Ohio office where he oversaw 24 professionals and 18 administrative support associates. Blue Ash was twice named Associate Office of the Year in 1998 and 1999 under his leadership.*
Upon graduating from The Tulane University of Louisiana with a BSE in Biomedical Engineering, Mark was designated a Naval Aviator in 1984 after flight school in Pensacola, Florida and Kingsville, Texas. He was assigned to VAQ-141 embarked upon the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) in the US Naval Forces 6th Fleet. After successful deployments to the Arctic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, Mark was named an advanced flight instructor primarily teaching young aviators during day and night carrier qualifications. He accumulated 3500 flight hours in 6 different aircraft and 320 carrier arrested landings.
In 2003 Mark completed the rigorous Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) through the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. The CIMA designation is widely regarded among investment professionals and institutional clients and firms.
Mark has served on the board of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and is a current board member of the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is married with two children and lives in the eastside of Cincinnati.
