Lauren Bieker

Lauren Bieker graduated from Gonzaga University with degrees in Business Marketing and English. Lauren studied fashion at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in her hometown of Los Angeles and subsequently worked as a buyer for an online retailer. After her decision to focus on writing and work in publishing, Lauren participated in a writing intensive program with the National Academy of Writing at the University of Cambridge’s Pembroke College in the UK. Currently, Lauren is working at her dream job as a literary agent for FinePrint Literary Management in New York City. Her goals include giving voice to people’s stories, especially those who have not had their chance at the mic yet. Lauren is also the eldest member of the fifth generation of the Cowles-Hammett family. Her goal is to continue the legacy set forth by earlier generations and put to practice the paraphrased message; with great privilege, comes great responsibility.
