Drawing on his experience as an entrepreneurial pioneer in the wireless telecom industry, Kent offers firsthand perspective of the challenges entrepreneurs and corporate executives face in handling their financial affairs.
After selling his interests in companies that he built over the course of seventeen years, Kent joined Merrill Lynch in 2002 and was later recruited by Morgan Stanley in November of 2008. Kent joined Rockefeller Capital Management in 2020.
Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kent received a Scholarship from Arizona State University and competed as a NCAA, Division 1 Gymnast. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1982 from ASU.
Kent serves on the Board of Directors for the C4 Foundation, a non-profit benefiting Navy Seal families.
Kent lives in Scottsdale with his wife Tamara. They have a daughter and twin sons. In his free time Kent enjoys skiing, travel, golf and spending time with his family.
