Justin Ryan is a Private Advisor and Managing Director with Rockefeller Capital Management. He is also the managing partner and lead portfolio manager for The Ryan Group. Justin and his team work with Ultra High Net worth families as well as endowments and corporations focusing on investment strategy, asset allocation, risk management and alternative investment selection. Justin began his career with PwC’s Financial Advisory Services division in Atlanta before moving to Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette (DLJ), as a portfolio manager in San Francisco (Acquired by Credit Suisse in 2000). Justin returned to Atlanta in 2002 with Smith Barney’s private client division where he received the Blue Chip Award each year with the firm, a distinction awarded to the firm’s best advisors. Justin then spent nearly a decade at UBS where he was recognized as a member of the Pinnacle Council which represented less than the top 1% of advisors at the firm. During this time he also served on the Private Wealth Advisory Council and the Global Asset Management Advisory Council. Justin speaks and often writes on tactical portfolio strategies and asset allocation.

In 2016 the Financial Times distinguished Justin one of the Top 400 advisors and for the fourth year in a row he was named to Barron’s Top 1,200 advisors (2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018). Forbes recently named him to their list of Top 250 Wealth Managers (2018).
Justin is committed to serving our community and is a founding board member of the Believe In Me Foundation, which benefits children with autism. He also sits on the Board of Trustees for the Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation and chairs the finance and endowment committee. He is also a current board member of the Anti-Defamation League. He is an active member of Christ the King Church and can often be found on the fields and courts of Atlanta coaching youth sports. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and received his CPM at Columbia University in New York. Justin resides in Atlanta and Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
