John Sheehan is a Managing Director and Private Advisor with Sheehan Wealth Partners at Rockefeller Capital Management. Over the past 30 years, John has provided Institutions, Foundations, Endowments and affluent families with investment strategy, portfolio management, asset allocation advice, asset liability models, and investment policy creation and adoption. As the Senior Advisor, John guides the team’s disciplined investment process and manages the team’s experienced and credentialed investment professionals who provide a collaborative approach to planning, investments, legacy planning, tax and estate advice.
John also spent time as Branch Manager at Merrill Lynch, where he effectively ran a successful and profitable top ten office globally.
His community involvement has included serving as Treasurer of the Waterford Foundation, Chairman of Board of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, as member of the George Washington University Colonial Board, and on the Advisory Council for the United Way of Loudoun County. He is formerly Chairman of the Board of the Loudoun County Healthcare Foundation and member of the Board of Trustees of LHI. John has a BA in Economics from James Madison University. He and his wife, Laurie, are the proud parents of five boys and five grandchildren and reside in Round Hill, VA.
