Forrest St. John Kim, CFP®

Forrest Kim is a Vice President and Private Advisor on Paget Wealth Partners. He specializes in reviewing and incorporating alternative, non-traditional, private strategies offered by the Rockefeller Global Family Office. Alternative investments serve a crucial role in portfolios as they can provide attractive risk-adjusted returns and dampen overall volatility often driven by the public markets. Forrest also leads the team’s efforts in delivering unique solutions that help business owners, technology leaders, and their families intelligently manage highly-concentrated assets, executive stock compensation, and major liquidity events in a tax-smart manner.

Forrest began his career at Morgan Stanley at the age of 20. Soon thereafter, he was selected to help manage some of the largest Corporate Stock Plans at the firm, which included working with senior leaders at companies like Amazon and Microsoft. From this unique experience, Forrest gained a deep understanding of the advantages and challenges of accumulating significant wealth through concentration in successful businesses, both public and privately-owned. As a result, Forrest has a specialized knowledge-base and skillset required to help clients optimize outcomes as they wish to exit, de-risk, and manage concentrated assets.

Forrest was born and raised in Hawai’i and serves as an Investment Committee Member for the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum which is the oldest and largest health advocacy organization for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders. Forrest and his fiancé, Sarah (who is also from Hawai’i), live in Queen Anne and enjoy attending concerts and sporting events around town.
