Ed Wahlberg joined Rockefeller Global Family Office as a Managing Director and Private Advisor for Wahlberg Wealth Partners. Prior to Rockefeller, Ed was a Managing Director, and a Private Wealth Manager, at Merrill® Private Wealth Management in Hartford, Connecticut since 1995. Ed is the founder of the Wahlberg Team. Ed provides leadership and advice to a select group of high-net-worth clients, helping them pursue their priorities more efficiently and give flight to their ambitions. He leads a close-knit team of colleagues and associates who work in concert to help clients capitalize on opportunities, forge lasting legacies, and foster positive outcomes for themselves and their loved ones.
Ed has particular depth catering to the needs of business owners, entrepreneurs, and senior executives. Serving a limited number of clients, he dedicates significant time and attention to each relationship, resulting in sustained support and a deeply tailored approach. Clients look to Ed for assistance in organizing their wealth so that it functions more strategically. He and his team also connect clients to a suite of family-office capabilities, serving as a single, reliable resource for a host of needs: investments, trust and estate planning services, pre- and post-liquidity event planning, executive stock services, philanthropic strategies, and access to customized credit through Bank of America, among others. Ed is accustomed to working with a client’s external advisors and intermediaries, advancing clear communication and steady progress on objectives.
Ed recognizes that clients share their most important resource with him: their families. He is serious about their well-being, striving to create the kind of practice where people know that they are valued, appreciated, and consistently cared for. He is also gratified to connect clients to an accomplished group of peers, allowing them to share best practices.
He earned his B.S. from Messiah University.
