David Lund joined Rockefeller Global Family Office, as a Private Advisor and Managing Director. Prior to Rockefeller, he spent 25 years at Merrill Lynch where he was a Managing Director.
David’s primary role is focused on strategies that address critical issues that affect corporate executives, business owners, and real estate investors. These include family wealth transfer and governance, tax minimization strategies, tax deferred arrangements, closely held business and concentrated stock issues. David and team work closely with families as they navigate life transitions, coordinating with clients trusted legal tax, and other advisors to achieve their unique goals.
David and his wife, Kim, live in Rockford, MI. They have four children which means their weekends and evenings are often spend shuttling them between activities including orchestra, sports, and youth group. David is an active volunteer with his Church and passionate about involvement in organizations that align with his purpose of making a positive impact wherever life takes he and his family.
David earned his Bachelor of Religious Education from Great Lakes Christian College, a degree in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University, and an MBA with distinction at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He holds number of industry designations including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Certified Private Wealth Advisor, Certified Investment Management Analyst, and Certified Retirement Plan Counselor.
David has received numerous recognitions as one of the industry’s best advisors from publications including Forbes, Barron’s, Financial Times and On Wall Street.
