Darrel Preston

Darrel is a Private Advisor and Managing Director for Preston, Swedlund & Turbitt Wealth Partners at Rockefeller Capital Management. Darrel has more than 31 years of investment and wealth management planning experience. Prior to joining Rockefeller, Darrel spent over a decade at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He began his career in 1987 at Rotan Mosle, Inc. and spent 16 years at PaineWebber/UBS before joining Merrill Lynch in December of 2008.

Throughout his career, Darrel has focused on providing exceptional service, thoughtful advice and customized financial strategies for families, business owners and individuals who aspire to a work optional lifestyle. Darrel works with each client to set quantifiable goals and helps prioritize their needs. He and the team then develop and implement a customized investment plan using a wide variety of financial instruments. In other words he and his team help clients put the pieces of the financial puzzle together.

Darrel is a 1985 graduate of Texas State University, Darrel and his wife Debbie, live in Dallas and have two grown children.  Darrel and his family enjoy traveling and stay active by snow skiing in the winter and in the summer hiking, and house boating at Lake Powell, UT.
