Dan Mendelson, CPFA

Dan Mendelson is a Managing Director, Private Advisor at CM Wealth Partners of Rockefeller Capital Management.

Prior to joining Rockefeller Capital Management in 2020, Dan spent 12 years as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch is Northbrook, Il., after 11 years with Smith Barney in Chicago. Before that, he was a financial and credit analyst at NBD (now JPMorgan Chase).

Dan earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, where he majored in Business Finance.  As a member of the Business Executives Association of Chicago, Dan stays abreast of the local issues facing businesses in his community.

Beyond working with clients and studying financial markets, Dan enjoys astronomy, basketball, biking, movies, travel, and spending time with his family. Dan lives with his wonderful wife Melissa in Highland Park, IL, where he was born and raised.  They have seven amazing children.
