Chris Potts

Chris joined Rockefeller in October 2024 from MassMutual Ascend Life Insurance Company. As a Client Associate, Chris is responsible for assistance with operations, asset allocation, and account oversight. Chris brings over two decades of customer service to this role.

Prior to his career as a Client Associate, Chris worked as an Operations Trainer at MassMutual Ascend, aiding with new hire and continuing training for employees across multiple departments as well as cultivating and collaborating growth among all Operations Trainers at the company along with ad hoc tasks, as necessary. Chris has a background in Education and was a High School Math Teacher, focusing on a diverse approach to educating students to appeal to all learning types and avoiding the cookie cutter method that only appealed to a select few. These experiences in education and customer service are the driving forces behind Chris’ ability to communicate with people where they are, earning their trust and helping them to understand their situations.

Chris obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from the University of Mount St. Joseph in May 2006, and obtained his Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of Mount St. Joseph in May 2012.

Chris and his wife Leah live on the West Side of Cincinnati with their three children. Chris and Leah are avid runners, and they enjoy taking part in their kids’ school activities such as sports and other extracurricular events.
