Brian Kaufmann

Brian Kaufman is the Head of Private Investments at Viking Global Investors LP.

From 2010 to 2015, Mr. Kaufmann was a Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst responsible for identifying, researching, and making public equity investments in the consumer, healthcare, and business services sectors.

From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Kaufmann was an Associate at TA Associates, responsible for originating, researching, and executing private equity investments in the healthcare and business services sectors.

From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Kaufmann was an Investment Banking Analyst in Merrill Lynch’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group.

Mr. Kaufmann earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with High Distinction as a George F. Baker Scholar, and he received a B.S. in applied economics and business management, magna cum laude, from Cornell University.
