*The Forbes ranking discussed above last for a period of one year until new rankings are released. Each advisor—selected by SHOOK Research—must have 7 years of industry experience, and is chosen based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative criteria, including: in-person interviews; industry experience; service model, compliance records; revenue produced; and assets under management. . Investment performance is not a criterion because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Rankings are based on the opinions of SHOOK Research, LLC and not indicative of future performance or representative of any one client’s experience .No compensation has been provided in connection with obtaining or using this award.
The general methodology criteria for Barron’s includes the following: Each advisor—selected by Barron’s—is required to respond to a survey about their practice which Barron’s verifies and applies a proprietary rankings formula along with sub calculations to generate each designation. The formula features three major categories of calculations: assets, revenue, quality of practice. Because individual client portfolio performance varies and is typically unaudited, this rating focuses on customer satisfaction and quality of advice. The rating may not be representative of any one client’s experience because it reflects a sample of all of the experiences of the Financial Advisor’s clients. The rating is not indicative of the Financial Advisor’s future performance. No compensation has been provided in connection with obtaining or using this award. The Barron’s Hall of Fame acknowledges advisors who have appeared in Barron’s annual Top 100 Financial Advisors or Top 100 Women Financial Advisors rankings for 10+ years.
