Thomas McDavid

Thomas McDavid is a Private Advisor and Managing Director within the Rockefeller Global Family Office. Tom began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1999 and joined Rockefeller in 2020 to better serve the dynamic needs of his clients.

Tom leverages the firm’s extensive resources and deep expertise to meet his clients’ evolving needs and help them ensure they achieve their goals. This includes his access to the firm’s specialists in taxes, lending, trusts and estates, and portfolio structure, in addition to the firm’s comprehensive family office network of colleagues.

With more than 20 years of experience in wealth management, Tom has extensive experience with investment management and portfolio oversight, including manager selection and option analysis. His experience extends from the CIO of one of Wall Street’s largest advisory teams at Merrill Lynch to his appointment of Family Wealth Director and Alternative Investments Director at Morgan Stanley.

Tom holds degrees from Southern Methodist University (B.M.), Yale University (M.M.) and Emory University (M.B.A.) and resides in Atlanta with his wife and son.
