Donny Chu is Senior Vice President at The FMC Group of Rockefeller Capital Management. His primary goal is to provide the highest quality wealth management experience and to establish deep and valued relationships. Donny works with clients to understand their financial priorities and to achieve their personal and financial goals through customized wealth strategies.
Prior to joining Rockefeller Capital in 2020, Donny had been with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management since 2011. Before that, he held various management roles in corporate finance, accounting, real estate sales and earning his CPA** license in the State of California.
Donny earned his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional and has earned the Certified Planning Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) credential.
He grew up in Alameda, Calif., and now lives in San Ramon, Calif. with his wife and daughter. He enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with family.
