Jahan K. Jewayni

Jahan is a Private Advisor, Senior Vice President at Rockefeller Capital Management. Prior to joining Rockefeller, Jahan was an advisor for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He focuses on educating clients and helping them make informed decisions regarding their wealth. Jahan takes the time to understand what is important to each client, and believes in using a disciplined process to help them reach their goals.

Jahan works with corporate executives and business owners through all stages of the business cycle, providing strategies for cash management, investment management, group retirement plans, financing, and business succession planning.

Jahan earned a B.S. degree in accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1995. Prior to joining Merrill, Jahan spent over a decade as a small business owner, and financial consultant to small and medium enterprises. Jahan is actively involved with a number of non-profits, and is an advisory board member of Devotion to Children, an organization focused on helping children from economically disadvantaged families.

Additionally, Jahan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Jahan lives in D.C. with his wife and two children. In his free time, Jahan enjoys playing soccer, running and hiking.
