Matthew Ashley

Matt Ashley is a Private Advisor, Senior Vice President at Rockefeller Capital Management. Prior to joining Rockefeller in November 2019, Matt was a Private Wealth Advisor for the Alexander Group at Merrill Lynch. He oversees designing, implementing, and managing our client portfolios. He also specializes in risk management and multi-generational wealth strategies.

Matt began his career working for a boutique private equity firm in Dallas before becoming a Merrill Lynch wealth advisor in 2003. He is an honors graduate from the University of Washington, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing.

A passionate outdoorsman, Matt enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time. He is a member of E3 Partners Ministry and has done charitable work in India, Cambodia, Thailand, Rwanda, and Zambia. Part of his work included improving basic healthcare, human trafficking education, and providing AIDS and malaria-related medical assistance. Matt and his wife, Carla, live in Plano with their two children.
