Sean Moreland, CFP®

Sean Moreland is a Private Advisor and Senior Vice President at Rockefeller Global Family Office. Prior to Rockefeller, Sean was a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch.

Sean has over 25 years of experience helping families and business owners navigate the complex financial challenges that typically accompany significant wealth. He has a deep understanding of wealth structuring techniques and investment strategies, that when used in concert, can help clients to preserve and grow their wealth. Prior to joining Rockefeller Global Family Office, he re-joined Merrill in 2022 after 11 years advising high net worth clients at the Private Bank at J.P. Morgan. At J.P. Morgan, he covered individuals and non-profit organizations as a Private Banker and as a Wealth Advisor for J.P. Morgan’s Trust Company. Prior to his role at J.P. Morgan, he was co-head of Merrill’s Premier Wealth Planning Group and a Trust and Estate Specialist in the New York and San Francisco markets.

Sean is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, CFP® professional and has a Bachelor’s in International Business from The College of New Jersey. He lives in Tewksbury, NJ with his wife Beth and children Jack and Madison. In his free time, he enjoys painting, hiking, and skiing.
