Ronald Ventura is a Private Advisor and Managing Director of the Rockefeller Global Family Office. Ron brings over 25 years of wealth management experience and insights to his relationships with a select number of families. He is responsible for several, significant family relationships and spends considerable time helping clients define their wealth objectives and structuring comprehensive advice, including expertise in investment advisory, trust and estates, multi-generational planning, tax strategy, philanthropy and cash flow planning. Ron has particular experience working with clients facing a liquidity event, such as the sale of a business, diversification of concentrated stock or inheritance.
Prior to joining Rockefeller, Ron was an Executive Director for Morgan Stanley, he was given the Family Wealth Director (FWD) designation, a distinction granted to less than 4% of over 15,000 Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors. The designation requires professional knowledge and experience in a range of specialties for families with significant wealth. Ron began his advisory career as a CPA at Ernst & Young, where he was a Manager. After Ernst & Young, he joined Merrill Lynch in 1996, where he was a Private Wealth Advisor in the Private Banking and Investment Group, before moving to Morgan Stanley in 2011.
A graduate of Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Ron and his wife, Lara, have three sons and a daughter. They live in Chicago, IL, where Ron is involved in a number of youth organizations.
