Tory Raether

Tory Raether is a Senior Vice President, Private Advisor, and Team Chief Investment Officer at Variant Path Group within the Rockefeller Global Family Office. With over two decades of experience, he focuses on providing sophisticated investment solutions to help clients overcome even their most complex financial challenges.

After receiving an undergraduate degree in Accounting from University of Wisconsin-Madison, Tory earned his MBA in Finance from University of Chicago. He began his career as a CPA for a national accounting firm before spending nearly two decades at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley beginning in 2000. As an executive in their capital market and equity divisions, he provided advice and portfolio construction strategies for many of the largest institutional asset managers in the country.

Since joining Variant Path Group, his focus is on providing sophisticated investment solutions to help simplify the financial lives of his clients and help grow their wealth. Drawing from the vast resources of Rockefeller Capital Management, his customized strategies span traditional and alternative investments, cash management and lending, and insurance products. This access to anything allows him to coordinate everything.

Outside the office, Tory lives in Davidson, NC with his wife, Jean and their three children. With a strong belief in the power of community involvement, he serves on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for the Kiwanis Club. He is also an active participant in Habitat for Humanity, Queen City Honor Flight, and Caterpillar Ministries.
